But who was the inspiration for the 144 poems and stories I wrote. Finding old papers I took the time to transcribe them here - adding new ones on somedays. Many of these writings have never before been seen, and have been private all that time. Still, many were written during the last 2, 5 and 15 years ago; while some work is more that 30 years old. I RESERVE THE RIGHTS TO ALL OF THESE POEMS AND STORIES. The diary served many purposes... It was like a private oasis where I could express my thoughts and feelings about life and love – both the wonderful whimsical side of love, as well as the hurtful heartaches it may bring. In spite of the name I gave the diary, I tried not to be cynical about love. The LovsSick Chronicles – Stories of Love and Fortune. This diary transported me back in time to a wonderful part of my life. And forward into a new one. And waiting there for me were the most wonderful female friends to take my hand and guide me passed the memories I once had, and to show me a few that I missed. They take many names – Calpurnia, Elizabeth, Sara, Margie and Drue to name a few. For privacy reasons I have renamed several of my friend's names with a single name "Calpurnia". Not every Calpurnia is the same person. Still, Calpurnia is an entity unto herself. SO, I INVITE YOU TO SPEND SOME TIME HERE. Fell free to peruse the many poems and stories. And, if by some magical power, you feel your heart grow younger, follow your dream through the passages within. CLICK ON “OLDER ENTRIES” TO SEE THE LIST OF WORKS And thank you for keeping the dream alive... This is a rare glimps into my soul, my mind and my heart. Some passages are best left forgotten, others will move you. Like life itself, there is growth, pain, joy and rememberance. ... WELCOME TO MY DIARY
