2001-03-26 - 09:29 p.m. UNIVERSAL POEM The Universe is so enormous, And time is so immense. We are but blinks of light in the distance. Our lights shinning together, so briefly in this total enormity Insignificant rays of photoelectric particles. Useless to any one but each other. As insignificant as we are to the whole of the Universe, We are essential to each other. Dimming, diminished, disappearing, dots, darting, diligently, dwarfing and defying destiny. And we still shine our light ahead of each other guiding each other toward each other. The motion of the Universe is captured in our souls. Spinning our conscious minds into one inescapable bond, defying the matter of nature. Caressing your soul in the pull of my gravity, and dancing with you in a gravitational pull around the stars. Till our heavenly bodies decay as does all previous bodies have before us. Yet our light will remain special as none has before. Never have our lights crossed, nor never will any other cross in the vast immense Universe ever expanding, until the day it too collapses upon itself. I will remain yours eternally forever.
