WE GET LETTERS:

Well here are the results of my latest Poll in which I asked: “Please send me the one thing you think we should remember this Holiday Season...” Ok, I promised that I would print all the responses unedited, so here goes…

Abigail Smurf, age 75, from Wicket, Pennsylvania writes: “I think the holidays are a good way to pay back all those parties I went to over the past year -- and would suggest a large sheet cake…”

Marcus Skrink, age 26½, from New York City pens the following: "Yeah, man, Christmas is that time of year when I get to write-off all my stock losses and looking forward to a new year of insanity"

Cathy Lombard, age 22, from Nice, Oregon sends these insightful words: “Christmas the time of year when all stores have their best sales.”

Lawrence Ellison, age 52, from Torrance, California says: “I Love buying presents for all my women friends.”

Mrs. Roughs and her daughter Hernia, age 9, of Wichita, Kansas both write: We both enjoy the holidays so we can see the snowfall, and shovel it into huge hills behind the barn."

Father Andrew, age 35, of St Luke’s Parish in Whitestone, New York sends these blessed thoughts: It is always a fine time of year to send the message of peace and joy, and to listen to the many titillating confessions of the parishioners…”

Sara Kneeling, age 15, of Chattanooga, Tennessee writes; “Ok, first I want to say that Christmas comes from the Latin word ‘christmus’; Second, Ok, I think that all people should not judge others at his time of year anyway.”

Norton Biggs, age 29, of Decatur, Georgia passes on these comment: “When we’re finished fertilizing the back 40, we like to remember how all our relatives came up form Florida to help the pick the onions, and spread the manure so that in spring…” Thanks Norton, moving on...

Gripton Fear, age 19, of Columbine Colorado, e-mails these touching thoughts: “ I will always remember my friends, and the meaning of Christmas as a time we should be more concerned with giving that taking…

Rachael Frogg, age 24, of Seaside Heights, North Dakota, posts these thoughts: “I hope it don’t snow much!”

Franklin Slipknot, age 27, of Forest Hills, Virginia writes: I love wrapping up presents and tying those pretty bows tight on the top… and forcing them to struggle getting them off.”

Finally, I invite you all to continue to write to me... Ok, not all of you…
